Group Fitness Classes
ReVitahealth Wellness specializes in promoting physical activity for adults and seniors. Regular Physical Activity is vital to your ability to remain healthy and strong and we also recognize that physical activity is a means to prevent or delay the onset of disease. We provide classes for all levels of fitness that are engaging and easy to learn. Our instructors are experienced and completely enjoy guiding participants through their own unique style of introducing fitness and choreography.
Join us on location in Mississauga, convenient to Erin Mills Town Centre, bus routes and highway 403. For added convenience, our instructors can arrange to come to you! We are pleased to offer in-house group exercise programs for adults and seniors at your local community centre, special interest group or assisted care facilities across the Greater Toronto Area. Our fitness programs will help improve and maintain strength, improve balance and prevent age-related muscle loss. Class Description: This class is designed to maintain and support improvement for those who are limited with mobility. The classes are primarily seated with standing components while occasionally using resistance bands and light weights. Gait aids are welcome. A total body stretching program that engages joints and muscles by repetitive holds in various angles creating awareness of body positioning and posture. This class also incorporates Falls Prevention strategies.
Class Description: Mixed components of aerobic, balance and toning exercises with a moderate level of cardio fitness for beginners, intermediate and advanced fitness goals. This class incorporates light weights and resistance bands for toning.
Latin Rhythm Fitness
Class Description: Beginner and Intermediate level of activity that introduces various salsa, samba, mambo, merengue and tango promoting flexibility, toning and endurance. Known as one of our most social classes, Latin Rhythm Fitness incorporates the added fun of some partner dances.
Beginner Hip-Hop Class
Class Description: Move to some of the favourite classics and latest music in Hip-Hop from the 70’s, to the 2000’s. This class introduces Hip-Hop routines from each era that will give you a great workout to help increase agility, flexibility and tone your entire body.
YOLO (You Only Live Once) Performance
Class Description: Don’t let the name of the class scare you. ‘Dancing With The Stars’ isn’t just for TV, why not get into the action yourself? This class is for beginners/intermediate and advanced dancers ages 35-99 who are open to learning Latin Rhythm and hip-hop choreography for friendly competition and performances across the GTA. After all, you ARE the star.
$5 for seniors ($30 for a monthly pass)
