Part-Time/Contract
ReVitahealth is currently seeking a self-starting, highly motivated Registered Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team of health care professionals. The physiotherapist will educate patients and their families, referral sources, and the community regarding musculoskeletal disorders and preventative health care.
We are seeking to build a multidisciplinary team of therapist who possess excellent values and integrity in what they do.
Qualifications
MHSc. [P.T.] or equivalent
Registered with Ontario College of Physiotherapy; Licensed by the College; CPA membership is encouraged
Valid CPR certificate
Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience (preferably experienced within a private clinic setting)
Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to work alone and collaboratively with multidisciplinary team
Addition training and experience in neurological disorders and TBI preferred
Experience working with third party insurers an asset.
Assessment, treatment and management, MVA, WCB, TBI and patients with neurological diagnoses’
Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload
Must have valid driver’s license. Own transportation
Responsibilities
Initiate appropriate treatment intervention based on clinical assessment
Provide on-going evaluation of client progress
Meet and/or exceed productivity standards
Administer and collect outcome measurement information
Work setting (may vary); hospital, community health centre, nursing home, home care
Must have valid drivers license and own transportation
